Reog Ponorogo
Reog Ponorogo is performed by some of the players with the main dancers who wear a bardance mask weighing up to 100 pounds [50 kg]. Reog Ponorogo’s art consists of three opening dances with 6- 8 men dressed in black. The core dance with 6-8 girl dancers and a rehearsal closing dance with the appearance of the barong lion.
Bapang Dance
Bapang is a dance performed in a mask. The mask was used by one of the Malangan mask figures Bapang. Has a red streak. Long nose and wide-eyed eyes. The movement in this dance is based on two factors: firmness and rhythm of the music. On the other side of the dance. The Bapang also have the unique role of character creation.
Festival Gandrung Sewu
Festival Gandrung Sewu is an annual festival in the Blambangan, Banyuwangi with thousands of flame – red dancers in the blam. Even dozens of musicians have not lagred in this activity. They brought a Gandrung dance that was a genuine art of Banyuwangi. This dance is an expression of people’s gratitude for the harvest.
Yanadya Kasada Festival
Yanadya Kasada Festival is an annual festival held on mount Bromo Tengger of East Java. The Hindu people of tengger will throw offerings at the crater of mount Bromo in gratitude for the bountiful harvest and livestock. A colorful celebration attracts both foreign and local tourists to capture the moment of consecration in the crater of mount Bromo.
Saronen
Saronen was a musical instrument originally used as a dakwah medium to encourage people to embrace Islam by kyai khotib. Made by teak given 6 rows and 1 holes in the back, the teak instrument contained a small metal ring to connect the lower part with the top of the leaf of Siwalan.
Kendang Banyuwangi
The Kendang Banyuwangi were especially Musical Instruments following the Gamelan in the membranes. The raw materials used wood with a hollow interior and were covered with membrane membranes made of animal skin such as a cow or a buffalo.
