Ketuk Tilu dance is a dance that is often performed at events such as weddings, and entertainment at the end of the event. This dance is the pioneer of the Jaipong dance. According to history, Ketuk Tilu dance was once a dance at a traditional ceremony welcoming rice harvest as an offering to Dewi Sri. In Ketuk Tilu Dance performance, the obligatory songs that must be performed are Kidung and Erang

 

Festival Seren Taun

Seren Taun ceremony is an expression of gratitude for the joys and sorrows of their experience, especially in the field of agriculture which is held every 22nd of the month of Rayagung as the last month in the calculation of the Sundanese calendar. Besides the ritual is a sacred, arts and entertainment are also held. This ceremony begins with the ngejayak ceremony (picking up rice), on the 18th Rayagung followed by the rice pounding ceremony and as the highlight of the event on the 22nd Rayagung.

 

Jengglong Dance

Jengglong is a musical instrument originating from the West Java region, this musical instrument is similar with bonang, saron, gong, also kendang sunda. Jengglong is made of wood and also iron or brass metal which is arranged and tied using a rope. jengglong is played by being hit, this instrument has a basic pentatonic tone, namely a 5-tone scale.
